The polluted and contaminated waters of the Caspian Sea where many species are threatened with extinction due to the dumping of toxic waste coming from nearby industries and the unauthorised fishing. If all the littoral states of the Caspian sea do not promptly take effective measures the situation in this largest lake in the world would go from bad to worse making the problem more alarming in future.
